Three Ways
1971, 5 minutes, 16mm film
music/sound by Simon Desorgher
This was my first film at the Royal College of Art. It symbolically explores three pathways to knowledge – art (in the overall context of the work), science (the technology of the medium) and religion (in the stones and the words).
It was very experimental in form and content and used the full film frame and time structure very unconventionally – it was unfinished in the allotted time-frame, and resulted a failure for my first year’s work!
